Our club participates in a variety of projects throughout the year that involve fundraising, community service, and assisting children locally and worldwide. We have three major fund raising projects annually that help us raise funds to support our projects. These are considered all-hands-onboard projects for our members to either lead or volunteer for the events. Additionally, members volunteer during elections to earn additional funs.
Below are the projects and activities in which we are currently involved:
Annually on some primary and election days, Kiwanians man one voting precinct on the Island. To work at an election site it requires training by the Supervisor of Elections’ office and a commitment to arrive by 6:00 am, and to not leave until all votes are counted, usually around 9:00 pm. Kiwanians do this to provide a community service by offering efficient and friendly support to the voting public and also as a fundraiser since payment for this work goes to support various club initiatives.
Marco Island Car Show
Marco Island Seafood and Music Festival
