We are generous with our time. We are creative with our ideas. We are passionate about making a difference. And we have fun along the way.
the Kiwanis club of Marco island has been serving marco island since 1993!
We feel fortunate to live in such a beautiful community in Southwest Florida. Whether a full time resident or part time resident, our members work hard to serve our community and the children in our area.
Members of the local Kiwanis family take the work of serving children and the community seriously, as evidenced by the projects we support.
These include: the Literacy Buddy Project of the Early Learning Coalition of SW Florida, the Terrific Kids program, Reading is Fundamental at two local elementary schools, support for local early learning and early child care programs, the needed expansion of library resources in selected elementary schools, and summer camp scholarships for children from needy families.
If you live on the island year round or just during the season and have a desire to work with our group of caring and fun members seeking to improve the outcomes of children in our service area and even worldwide then we invite you to contact us about membership. Just click to join us!

Our members volunteer thousands of hours annually to raise funds to support these key projects for children in our community.
The Kiwanis Club donated $3,200 to Marco Island Academy from our car show proceeds. Principal Melissa Scott stated funds will go towards the civic works of the Key Club and supplies for the cheerleading squad and band.
